We've been measuring length this week...
The children need to be able to use a ruler to measure:
* to the nearest cm
* accurately - using cm and mm e.g. 15cm and 3mm
Drawing lines at home and practising measuring various objects are easy ways to practise this! All of the children MUST have a long ruler in school to do this!
